Debauve & Gallais, appointed chocolate makers of the Kings of France Sulpice Debauve, pharmacist of the King Louis XVI, opened in 1800 with its nephew, Mr. Gallais, a chocolate factory whose reputation quickly made of it the appointed supplier of the Kings Louis XVIII, Charles X and Louis-Philippe. Thus, for 200 years, we have served the great men and famous names of all around the World.

200 years celebrating and opening of two websites For its 200 years, celebrated on September 28 2000, Debauve & Gallais wanted to honour the motto engraved on the shop pediment "Utile dulci" (Horatio) by opening two websites, the first at the ending of 2001, an on-line E-shop at the attention of the world chocoholics, and the second mid-2002, a Business to Business website dedicated to the foreign retailers and wholesalers anxious to propose to their customers a true french dark chocolate with an unique name.
